Crossroads BnB is close to the beautiful Dartmoor Moors, with fantastic views for miles. Moretonhampstead is a small village on the edge of the moor which is around 10 mins drive away and a 1/2 hour walk. The village has a couple of pubs and eateries on offer, The White Hart is a lovely hotel with a bar, restaurant open to the public, meals are very reasonable and the bar has lovely bar meals too. Afternoon teas can be taken here in the lounge or Garden. We have also The Horse, lovely surroundings inside, restaurant to the rear with a small enclosed garden, it offers fabulous food, pizzas and good selection of local beers. During the summer months we have the odd music and quiz night. The Old Union Inn is a pub with character, lovely food, fantastic selection of beer and a lovely outside space on a sunny day, very reasonably priced would recommend booking at weekends, the same with The Horse they get very busy. Roberto's Pizza restaurant, fabulous atmosphere and food, small but worth it! Roberto's does not have an alcohol licence so please take your own along, they will provide the glasses and soft drinks are available. Booking is always recommended as a lot of the locals use this one. We also have our Lovely Tea Rooms, only recently renovated and beautifully done too. well recommend this one for afternoon teas and light lunches. If your wanting a sit in the sun and a lovely cup of coffee and a good lunch then Central Stores Cafe is ideal, situated next to the Information centre and our lovely Brainwaves charity shop where you can always find a fantastic bargain.
